Putin orders preparation of national development goals till 2024

MOSCOW, Mar 16 (PRIME) -- President Vladimir Putin has ordered the administration to prepare a decree defining Russia’s national development goals until 2024, the Kremlin said on Friday.

The main goals include growth of population, an increase of life duration to 78 years by 2024 and 80 years by 2030, an increase of quality of life, stable growth of people’s incomes and growth of pensions above inflation. The decree to be prepared by April 15 also aims at halving the level of poverty in the country, and ensuring economic growth above the global pace, among other goals.

Putin also ordered the government and the central bank to approve by July 15 a plan of actions to speed up growth of investments and raise their share in gross domestic product (GDP) to 25%.

The president also ordered preparation of proposals on decriminalization of certain articles against activities of entrepreneurs by December 1 and introduce amendments envisaging changes in parameters of calculation of the personal property tax by July 15.
